Hi, I’m Erin,
And I want to do everything I can to get you pregnant and stay pregnant! I've been where you are today. Getting and maintaining a pregnancy took over ten years of my life. It consumed me and my thoughts. I missed vacations. I missed important events because all of the effort and stress of trying to have a baby took over my life.
I want to help you in your fertility process because infertility took over so many years of my life, and I wish I had someone to help me through it. I didn't know having a fertility coach was an option.
I have had over ten egg retrievals, multiple failed transfers, failed IUIs, and multiple miscarriages. I tried countless fertility diets and treatments like acupuncture. I switched doctors and clinics numerous times. My uterine lining was never thick enough and I eventually used a procedure called platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to increase my lining. I got to the point where I was looking at egg donor profiles online. My anxiety was so high during these years I had constant stomach pain.
When I was fortunate enough to get a positive pregnancy result, I struggled with numerous complications. I found out I had a blood clot and needed to be on blood thinners. During my first pregnancy, I had an emergency cerclage put in at 23 weeks and was at risk for preterm labor.
My last and final transfer was successful at age 41, and I delivered a healthy baby boy at age 42. Not only do I have multiple years of personal experience, but I am also an experienced labor and delivery nurse (RN). I worked for years in bedside nursing, helping patients in antepartum, labor, and post-partum hospitals in California. Most recently, I've worked at a busy high-risk OB Clinic at Stanford Hospital. I cared for dozens of patients a week, including many older patients during their pregnancy.
My persistence did pay off, and I now have two healthy children. However, knowing what I know now, I would have done so many things differently. I understand how complex and overwhelming the process can be because I have lived it myself.
